Retro wallpapers
Sunbursts, checkerboard floors, neon grids and atomic starbursts — hard-edged period graphics built on symmetry rather than gradients.
Retro styles repeat one motif across the whole frame and keep every edge hard, so they stay sharp at 4K instead of softening the way a gradient does. They use the four colours as a four-colour print job rather than as a ramp, which is why they come alive on the warmer, more limited moods — the burgundy, wine and forest-and-gold palettes were picked for exactly this kind of flat period colour.

-
SunburstPro
Wedges of two warm tones radiating from a low sun disc, with a flat band of the darkest colour cutting straight across as the ground beneath it.
-
Checker floor
A checkerboard floor running away to a vanishing point on the horizon, its rows packing tighter with distance under a two-tone sky.
-
Atomic scatter
Eight-pointed starbursts, boomerang arcs and ringed dots scattered across a pale ground with plenty of air between them, in the mid-century way.
-
Neon gridPro
A glowing perspective grid running to the horizon under a banded sun disc, the grid lines and the sun sharing one vanishing point on a near-black field.
-
Rainbow arcsPro
Nested rings of flat colour anchored to the corners of the frame and clipped by its edges, overlapping into the stacked quarter-rainbows of a seventies poster.
-
Tracking lines
A field of fine scanlines over a graded ground, broken by a few displaced bands that throw the two accent colours out to either side like chroma bleeding off damaged tape.
-
Chrome cassettePro
A large eighties cassette deck, built from hard printed panels, twin tape reels and a row of tiny controls, sitting on a dark field with a subtle paper grain.
-
Pixel horizon
An 8-bit landscape on a coarse pixel grid: dithered sky bands, a blocky sun, drifting clouds and three ranges of jagged snow-capped mountains, scaled up hard-edged like an old console screen.
