Pick the palette first with these: the two-tone kit sash, the mowed pitch stripes and the tactics-board formation all take their colours from the mood you choose, so any club’s colours are a couple of taps away.

• Club kit A bold diagonal sash across a clean field, in the flat two-tone language of a football shirt.
• Floodlit pitchPro A football pitch under floodlights, mowed into stripes with the centre circle and penalty area marked out in white.
• Tactics boardPro A top-down tactics board: a marked pitch with a formation laid out in numbered dots and passing arrows between them.
• Back of the netPro A goal net stretched open around the ball a moment after it hits, the diamond mesh ballooning outward with the floodlights burning through from behind.
• Heritage stripes An old club shirt laid flat: vertical stripes, hoops or fine pinstripes in hard printed colour, finished with a ribbed collar at the top of the frame.
• Terrace tifo A packed stand holding up thousands of coloured cards that together form one giant star, chevron or banner stripe — the matchday choreography, as a mosaic.
• Scarf barsPro A close-up of a knitted supporters' scarf: blocky bars of club colour worked stitch by stitch, ending in a row of tassels.
